We had a wonderful last day on the beach! I really feel like Leanna and I needed this week away. And although we missed having Dad and Will with us during the day, we needed the time to just play together - no worries about laundry, or school, or taking care of "stuff", just time together with no distractions. Leanna has done so well on this trip. Usually, she does not like change (change of routine or change of surroundings). Usually, the first couple of days of anything away from home results in sensory overload and a lot of craziness. But this time, it was different. We had no meltdowns or major mischief. My sweet little girl had fun and it was good for me to see!
Because of the weather, Will's diver certification was done at a local spring rather than in the ocean. He passed with flying colors and is very excited about his next adventure this summer - getting his Driver's Permit!

Vacations are always fun when there's no schedule and you can just relax and go with the flow. Glad to hear Leanna was great on your trip. She looked like she was having so much fun on the beach!
