November is a Blur!

We had a busy November with lots of Girl Scout activities and Thanksgiving.  We celebrated Thanksgiving at my sister Debi's house and were thrilled that my mom finally had a day off!  I think this last photo may be one of the only photo's ever taken with my my mom, my sister, and my brother and I in it together.

October 31, 2013......Halloween

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We had a very busy Halloween.  Leanna had a party in Girl Scouts, a night of trick-or-treating at home and a fall festival celebration at school.  At school, they choose a story book character (she chose Mulan) and have to do a book report and did a character parade through the hallways, then had an afternoon filled with fun activities.  We baked mummies (dough wrapped hot dogs) for one party and cupcakes for another.

We had a great time in FL for fall break!  Rather than the long lines in the popular parks, we chose to do the smaller parks and were so happy with our choice.  We did not have to stand in long lines and got to do all of the rides that we wanted.  Leanna still is not quite tall enough for the biggest roller coasters, but she had plenty that she could!  We had a fun day on the beach and really enjoyed just being together.

October 3, 2013.....A Field Trip to the Farm

 

We had a great day at the farm!!  These kids had a blast and the school and parents were so proud of them.  We had constant compliments on ohw well behaved they were.  We are so glad that we found this fantastic school!

September 10, 2013.....The Past Few Weeks

 

We have had nose bleeds again so back to the Dr. for some numbing and cauterizing.

 We have had fun on the lake with friends.

 We have enjoyed lots of pool time.

Leanna had her first friend sleep over - they had a blast!

 

 

This is one silly girl!!  School is going great and she seems very happy and comfortable there.  Every time that I am there, someone from the staff stops me to share how much they are enjoying having her there.  They say that she has the fantastic manners and is always smiling.
