July 26, 2012.....Happy 7th Birthday!

We have been celebrating someone's birthday all week long!  We have gotten pedicures with matching color and designs, wash-out pink highlights in her hair, dinner out with Nanny and Papaw, and baking a cake and decorating Leanna style.  She chose everything this week and has had a great time doing that!  She is 47 inches tall (which puts her in the 33rd percentile) and weighs 44 pounds (which puts her in the 18th percentile).  Happy Birthday sweet girl and slow down!  Mom is not ready for you to be a big girl just yet!

July 14 , 2012...Summer Swim Championship

Will's last swim meet for the season, the Championship, was held at the University of the South.  Their pool is fantastic, but their viewing area is not great for photo's so not so much in pictures.  Will did great and we are very impressed with how he is progressing.  He competed in 3 different events (IM, Breast Stroke, and Back Stroke) and improved his times in all events.  This campus is beautiful so between events, we wanted to walk around and take pictures but the weather did not cooperate.  We ended up spending way too much time at the vending machines!  Why are the snacks so much better out of the machine (rather than the healthier snacks that Mom brought)?

July 12, 2012....What to do with a Rainy Day?

 We started our rainy day with a trip to the local pharmacy and their lunch counter.  They are known for their yummy sandwiches and a fruit drink concoction called a bloody marty (squeezed lemons, oranges, sugar water, and some type of secret syrup).

Then the girls spent the rest of the afternoon playing dress-up with recital costumes and singing karoke to the top of their lungs.  They had a blast (and the rest of us, including the dog, were wishing for some ear-plugs).

What a blast this was!!!  Leanna and Cole said "Go Faster" and Olena said "Slow Down".

July 2, 2012.......Fun with Leanna and Morgan

We always love spending time with Amy and Morgan!  Leanna and Morgan had a great time!  Leanna loves to "mother hen" Morgan and he has now gotten just big enough to give it right back to her.  They smiled and giggled the entire time they were here.  Definately music to two moms ears!

June 30, 2012.....Dance Recital

The Dance Recital was BEAUTIFUL!  Leanna did so well!  We were so proud of her!  Her dad gave her roses at the end of her performances and she has talked about that non-stop since then.
