December 2013

I spent several days, using different lighting, attempting to get a good photo of both kids wrapped in Christmas lights.  I took several hundred photo's (and they both were not happy with me for putting them through it) and was never happy with the results.  So the 2nd photo above is what I used for our Christmas card.  Not really what I had in mind, but a good photo of the two of them.

Santa visited Leanna's school and got some great photo's!
We started a new puzzle - and it may take forever!!
We visited the North Pole via train with some great friends.

 We celebrated Christmas with cousins.
We received gifts in the mail from some great Taiwan Mama friends!
Leanna has really started to enjoy painting, so I bought her a few canvases.  The snowman is her first creation on canvas.
Our new ornaments this year are photo's - one of Will and Leanna, and one is a family photo.  I also received a beautiful ice skate from a dear friend who is also a Taiwan Mama.  This ornament is very special to me.
We left food for the reindeer on Christmas Eve.
 Her gifts from Santa.

 His gifts from Santa.
 I think she was excited!!
I made Will a quilt from some of his t-shirts.  He loved it!
Leanna's new ornament this year has a beautiful little girl on it that looks like her.
Will's new ornament has penguins on it.
 Another holiday gathering with family.
Just after Christmas we were able to spend some time with sweet Taiwan friends, Morgan and Amber Joy (and their moms).  Leanna loves spending time with these guys!

Leanna's piano recital was great.  She did so well!!
Leanna received goodies in the mail from a special Taiwan friend named Deborah.
