We have wonderful friends who live in Okinawa, Japan. They also have a beautiful daughter that was born in Taiwan. She regularly sends us snacks and treats from Japan (and I send her Leanna's hand-me-down clothing for Mika). Leanna is in HEAVEN when these packages arrive. I have never seen this child eat so much! She loves those Japanese snacks! We also love her newest "UT" clothing that I found locally sporting Hello Kitty in a UT shirt.
Don't you love those Higginbothams!! They are the best. You need to visit Hawaii. We have many stores that make you feel like you're in Okinawa. It's so funny because we have some of those same dishes too!! We use the ones for rice!
